THE KNIGHTS STORY
Tre Johnson brings a unique blend of experience and passion to The Knights. A former high school and college-level athlete, Tre's own athletic journey was marked by both triumph and adversity. Unfortunately, an injury halted his playing career, but it ignited a fervent commitment to share the valuable lessons learned through his personal successes and failures with the next generation of athletes.
For the past three years, Tre served as the park president at Winthrop Park, where he has been a pivotal force in shaping the community's athletic landscape.
The Knights originated when many of his dedicated athletes at Winthrop Park who wanted to have him as their coach but aged out of the program he was at. Tre saw an opportunity to continue their athletic journey with him, as well as prepare them for the real world, through building The Knights.
Tre's coaching style is a reflection of his unwavering dedication to the game and the young athletes he mentors.
